Jeet Shah
Welcome to my webpage! I’m Jeet Shah, a fifth-year PhD candidate at the University of Maryland, College Park, co-advised by Prof. Alexey Gorshkov and Prof. Victor Galitski. My background is in condensed matter theory, and I am currently interested in quantum information. Specifically, I am interested to explore how current and near-term quantum devices can be leveraged to solve problems in quantum many-body physics. I am particularly interested in developing and optimizing near-term quantum algorithms for practical applications, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with today’s quantum devices.Research Interests: Quantum Algorithms, Quantum Information, Quantum Many-body Physics, Quantum Simulation.
Skills: Python, Qiskit, Julia, C++, Tensor Network Methods, Clifford Circuit Simulations, Monte Carlo Simulations, Git.
